The story of a photographer
Hi, my name is Andrea Knowles! I began my love for photography years ago, with a Canon Film Camera. My camera never left my hand as I captured many memories in my life. As the years went on and I started having my own children, I realized I was able to turn my passion into an amazing hobby. That hobby grew into a business, that has blessed me and my family in so many ways. I have met some amazing people, strangers that have turned into great friendships.
Being a photographer has taught me so much. One in particular, to never take a moment for granted. To just enjoy and be present in all the moments. When I deliver my client's gallery, I want them to feel all the emotions as they re-live that special moment in their life. I am forever honored to be invited into my client's lives.
The above picture of me, is my raw self. It was an impromptu photoshoot of my babies, and my kiddos said "Mom, can we take a picture of you?." I remember that day, I was not feeling it. I had no make-up on, my hair was in a "mom bun" ( I took the mom bun out for the picture), and my kids were making faces at me behind the camera. I look at this photo and remember my kids being goofy, and trying to make me smile, because I wasn't ready for a photo. It was a moment my babies got to take the photo, it was a moment where they seen beauty in me. Something a mom of four will forever cherish.
My Favorite place
I love photographing at the beach! Although the weather can be unpredictable sometimes, especially at the beach, it is my place of peace. I gather all my creative energy there and recharge my mind.
